All bedrooms are on the first floor, accessed via a wide, internal staircase.
Being an old building we have the usual quirks which make it characterful, and it does mean that there are some steps here and there into rooms from the corridors, as well as low head-heights occasionally. If you are particularly tall, you might want to tell us when booking so we can try to ensure a comfier stay.
The pub's bar is step-free through the main entrance.
Our Dining Room is accessible, step-free, from the street too. On arrival, we can open the front door there if needed. There are four internal steps between the Dining Room and the toilets, however going outside from the Dining Room and back into the pub, it's step-free. When dining with us, if you require a table to eat with step-free access to the toilets, please inform us when you book so that we can try to offer you a table in the bar.
Our new toilet block has large, accessible cubicles and a baby-change unit. An affect of being an old building is that wider or motorised wheelchairs may find the corridor to the toilets a little thin, so we recommend using smaller wheelchairs where possible.
Parking is available adjacent to the pub on our drive, around the Village Green or on the High Street. There are no parking restrictions on the roads but we ask our guests to consider our neighbours' properties and all driveways when leaving their cars.
