The Masons can act as a great base to explore the Cotswolds and beyond. With superb road and rail connections, you can explore many different towns on day-trips from us.
NORTH COTSWOLDS - driving at your own leisure, take a stop-start tour all of your own, exploring the Cotswold Market Towns beyond our doorstep - several easily manageable in a day out. Towns such as Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water, Broadway and Chipping Norton will all leave you feeling satisfyingly full of teas, scones and cake, if you let them!
OXFORD - 45 minutes drive and you arrive in Oxford, with its historic university seemingly the centre of all action. Shops and restaurants, architecture, history all await, along with theatres and museums.
BATH - 50 minutes away by car, explore this world-heritage spa town, with its Roman Baths, Abbey and superb shopping. Stop off for a potter around the antique shops in Tetbury on your route to Bath, with Highgrove, the country home of HRH The Prince of Wales backing onto the National Arboretum at Westonbirt.
LONDON - Kemble is our easiest rail station, with ample parking, and from there you are four-stops to London in 1 hour, 20 minutes. Easily manageable for a daytrip, whether you choose to see a West End show, shop-til-you-drop or go sight-seeing, the Masons will be your relaxing retreat from the hustle and bustle of the capital at the end of the day.
